Grimes wages battle with herself on the wild and wonderful 'Art Angels'

It's probably an understatement to suggest that Canadian electro-pop artist Claire Boucher has a complicated relationship with her alter ego, Grimes. Things started out fine, then got weird: There was a series of table-setting, slow-burning early releases, followed by the 2012 breakthrough album "Visions," and its signature online hit, "Oblivion."
